1. Who may use the site

CTRcade is built for kids and families, and the games are intended for a general audience including children.

If you are under 18, you may use the site with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian should review these Terms and our Privacy Policy with you. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of the site. There are no accounts on CTRcade, so there is nothing to sign up for.

2. Cost and voluntary support

CTRcade is free to play. Every game is available at no charge, and there are no subscriptions, no in-game purchases, no virtual currency, and no ads. You are responsible for your own internet access and the device you play on.

We accept voluntary tips through PayPal from anyone who wants to support the site. Tips are entirely optional, unlock nothing, and are never required to play any game. The payment happens on PayPal's own website, not ours — see the Privacy Policy.

Tips are gifts to Cerro Bello LLC, which is a for-profit company and not a charity. They are not tax-deductible. Because nothing is being bought, tips are generally non-refundable — but if something went wrong, email us and we'll sort it out.

Tips should only be sent by an adult. If you are under 18, do not send money without your parent or guardian's permission.

3. Not affiliated with the Church

CTRcade is an independent, fan-made project. It is not owned, sponsored, endorsed by, or officially affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or any of its affiliated entities. Names, terms, scripture references, and themes drawn from Latter-day Saint belief and scripture are used here for educational and recreational purposes. Nothing on this site is official Church doctrine, curriculum, or publication. For official materials, please visit the Church's own resources.

We aim to treat sacred subjects respectfully. If something here strikes you as irreverent or inaccurate, please tell us at contact@ctrcade.com — we take that seriously and will look at it.

4. How you may use the site

You may use CTRcade for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to:

• use the site for anything illegal, or to harm or harass anyone
• attempt to break, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its servers
• upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• copy, scrape, mirror, or republish the site or its games elsewhere
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the games, except to the extent the law says you may
• remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other notices
• use the site, or anything on it, for commercial purposes without our written permission

5. Our content and rights

The site — including the games, code, artwork, text, sounds, layout, the CTRcade name, and the CTRcade logo — is owned by Cerro Bello LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms don't give you ownership of any of it; they give you permission to play. Scripture text and other third-party material used on the site remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Links to other sites

The site may link to websites we don't control. We provide those links for convenience, and we don't endorse and aren't responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk, and parents should review them before letting children follow links off the site.

7. Availability

We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue the site or any game at any time, with or without notice. We may also limit access to the site in particular places or to particular people. We don't promise that the site will always be available or that saved progress will be preserved indefinitely — scores are saved in your browser and can be cleared by your browser.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any information on it is accurate or complete. Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cerro Bello LLC and its owners, members, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the site — even if we have been told such damages are possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cerro Bello LLC from any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your use of the site or your violation of these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian, this applies to use of the site by your child.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Copyright concerns

If you believe something on CTRcade infringes your copyright, email contact@ctrcade.com with a description of the work, where it appears on the site, your contact information, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorized. We'll review it and remove infringing material promptly where appropriate.

13. Parental controls

Tools exist to help parents manage what their children can reach online, including the parental controls built into most operating systems, browsers, and home routers. We don't endorse any particular product, but we encourage parents to look into what's available.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it. These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a transfer of the site.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
